Cassandra Daniel
Owner/Trainer

I started working with rescue dogs when I was 12. Eventually, I began working along side a professional dog trainer in Alaska whose focus was on using positive training techniques and teaching you a better way to communicate with your dog. I’ve been working with dogs for over 10 years. I also spent nearly a year working in a kennel for Contract Working Dogs (explosive detection, narcotics and patrol). My own dogs, Sasha and Shiro, are the loves of my life. They help in my training sessions with aggressive and anxious dogs. My goal is to help build a positive relationship between dogs and people.

Kennel Manager/Assistant Trainer

I started working with animals as a small child. My mother was a wildlife rehabilitator and I assisted with the care of many species. I have always had dogs in the home and have made my life revolve around working with them. I spent about 2 years assisting a professional trainer who specialized in obedience and protection training. I have shown dogs in the UKC ring and worked with many breeders over the years, learning about different breeds and their individual needs and behaviors I have been a foster and volunteer with Fur-Ever Home Rescue out of Virginia Beach since 2012, taking on some of their more difficult cases and helping to successfully get them into loving homes. I spent 3 years working at a facility with contract working dogs (Explosive Detection, Narcotics and Patrol) and I have 3 dogs of my own (Judge, Xombie and Yuki-Hana) who also come to Colonial Canine for boarding and daycare.
