At Colonial Canine, we believe daycare should feel like a second home for your dog — a place full of friendly faces, wagging tails, and plenty of fun. Our days are built around structured play, a familiar routine, and activities that keep things fresh and exciting, helping your dog grow in confidence and independence.
With 1,400 SQFT of outdoor play space and a cozy, climate-controlled indoor playroom, there’s always room to run, romp, or just relax — no matter what the weather brings. We’re proud to offer a safe, welcoming space where your dog can be part of our family. ❤️
Welcome to a Day in the Life at Colonial Canine! 🐶🎉
At Colonial Canine, daycare isn’t just a service — it’s an adventure! Here’s everything you need to know to get your pup ready for their best day ever:
🗓️ When We Play:
Daycare is open Monday through Friday — weekends are for extra belly rubs at home!
⏰ Drop-off Window:
7:00 AM to 9:30 AM
(Think of it like checking into camp... with more slobbery kisses.)
🚗 Pick-up Window:
4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
If you need to scoop up your pup a little early, just give us a heads-up so we can have them packed and ready!
📅 Reservations, Please!
We require at least 24 hours’ notice to book a daycare day.
Booking for Monday? Be sure to snag your spot by 5:45 PM on Friday!
🎟️ Limited Spots:
We keep our daycare numbers cozy so every dog gets plenty of attention, playtime, and love from our awesome staff!
⏳ Full Days Only:
We don't offer half-days — it's full-day fun or bust! If you do need an early pickup, just let us know when you drop off.
So... What Does a Day Look Like? 🐾🌟
🐕 Morning Roll Call:
When pups arrive, they cozy up in their personal kennel spaces while we wait for the whole crew to get here. (Early birds get bonus snuggles!)
🎾 First Play Session:
Once everyone’s checked in, it’s go time! Morning play runs until about 10:45 AM — think zoomies, group games, and plenty of tail-wagging.
😴 Nap Time (and Human Snack Time):
From 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, it’s paws up for a well-deserved nap while our staff takes lunch. Sweet dreams of tennis balls and treats!
🐾 Afternoon Fun:
After a quick potty break, the afternoon party kicks off! More playtime, more friends, and more happy (tired) pups by the time you come to pick up your best friend.
At Colonial Canine, we make every daycare day feel like a mini vacation — full of friends, fun, and the best kind of tired at the end. 🐶💤
We can’t wait to see your pup’s happy face at drop-off!

Daycare is offered Monday - Friday with the exception of any major holidays. We do not offer daycare on weekends or any major Travel Holidays such as Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day or New Years Eve/Day.
